What’s the very best part of your job and why?
I enjoy my job as Administrative Assistant/Switchboard Operator because I am able to greet new clients and get to know existing clients in the lobby area. I also enjoy greeting and processing the many calls we receive on a daily basis.
What made you want to work at TJ Woods Insurance?
I chose to work at this Agency 17 years ago. I found everyone to be friendly and very knowledgeable.
What makes you the most proud of where you work, and why?
I am happy and proud to work at Thomas Woods because the majority of our clients are very pleased with our service. Our Customer Service Representatives pay attention to detail and try to give the clients the best insurance for the best value.
Who is the one person at work that you couldn’t live without, and why?
I find Blanca to be very valuable as she is Spanish and helps all of our Clients who cannot speak English. We have obtained new clients and she has helped existing customers who otherwise would not understand their policy.
A little more personal…
What’s the very best part of your life and why?
The best part of my life is my husband, Gary. It will be 40 years in October that we have been together and he stands beside me when I need him, cares for me when I am sick, and we enjoy traveling together.
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on? Tell us about it.
I would like to go back to the Emerald Mines in North Carolina to look for precious stones, it was a fun activity and we will be returning in the Fall.
What is the charitable cause that means the most to you, and why?
The charitable cause that means the most to me is the American heart Association as my Mom had heart disease. I feel that this organization strives to cure Heart Disease.
