What’s the very best part of your job and why?
The best part of my job is the people I work with. We have a good group of people that work well together for the most part. We are not perfect. I feel that we are a very caring group.
What made you want to work at TJ Woods Insurance?
I was employed by TJ Woods approximately 12 years ago before returning 2 years ago. I had left to be closer to my children’s schools and activities. Now they are older and the opportunity arised to return. The 3 owners are so easy to work for and generous that I could not say no. They are all family oriented also.
What makes you the most proud of where you work, and why?
The main focus of TJ Woods is the customer. Emphasis is put on giving the best customer service possible. As a result, most of the customers have been with our agency for many years and we have good relationships with them. Emphasis is also put on the employees. The partners really appreciate the work we do.
What’s the most needed, yet overlooked line of insurance that you’ve seen first-hand that people need?
I feel Life Insurance is the most needed. At a time when family needs to mourn and not worry, Life Insurance can help to ease the unbearable pain. I have lost close relatives and we did have insurance which was a huge relief.
A little more personal…
What’s the very best part of your life and why?
I am the middle child of 5 in my family and the only one to graduate from High School. I was pretty much on my own at 17 when I moved out into my own apartment. My first job was with Travelers Ins. Co. one month after I graduated. I have had a good career in insurance and have succeeded on my own.
What’s the very best part of your life and why?
The best part of my life is my family. I have a good support system with my husband and two great sons. My extended family includes a great relationship with my Sister-in-law and her fiancé, especially since they have moved back from NJ.
What’s on top of your bucket list? When do you plan to do it?
Top of my bucket list is to either take a cruise to Alaska or a trip to Greece. I plan to do at least one of these within 2-5 years. I have never been on a cruise and Alaska is beautiful. I have Greek heritage and would like to visit there also.
What is the charitable cause that means the most to you, and why?
St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital is one of the most important charitable causes to me. I am blessed with two healthy sons and my prayers go out to those families with sick children.
